The geometric silhouette of the openwork frame is inspired by the decorative structures of the period, with arches combining metal and glass. Timeless clear crystal set in luminous gold, or silver with dusk purple crystal, are adorned with a thin black lacquer inspired by Art Deco.
After excelling in Art Nouveau, Lalique's style moved towards Art Deco in the 1910s. Guided by his pioneering spirit, René Lalique completely reinvented his art. The Larcade collection reflects the aesthetic of Art Deco architecture. Each piece has been carefully designed to capture the essence of this artistic movement, with an emphasis on symmetry, balance and sophistication style.
