Lalique Saffron Mashhad – Iran Scented Candle is inspired by the legendary “Red Gold” of the Middle East, saffron, widely celebrated as the world’s most precious spice. Revered in Persian cuisine and admired for its vibrant color and unique fragrance for centuries, saffron has influenced art, culture, and even scripture, with its first recorded aromatic mentions appearing in the Bible.

The fragrance of this candle captures saffron’s dry, hay-like aroma, dressed in warm, leathery, and woody notes that create a mysterious, opulent symphony. Top notes of bergamot, lemon, and rose provide a bright and elegant opening, while cypriol, saffron, and Virginian cedarwood enrich the heart with depth and warmth. The scent lingers with a luxurious dry-down of amber, labdanum absolute, and patchouli, evoking a rich, oriental journey.
