Since his first appearance in 1934, Donald Duck™ has become one of the most recognisable characters in the Disney universe. His explosive temper, unmistakable gestures and humorous personality have made him a beloved character for generations and a true pop culture icon.

In this creation, we reinterpret his image with a contemporary approach, preserving the character’s most distinctive features and translating them into the language of porcelain. The piece is crafted in glossy white porcelain and rests on a geometric matte blue porcelain base. The vibrant yellow of the legs and beak, together with the specially developed blue used in the decoration, bring visual strength and chromatic balance to the composition.

The shirt is decorated with hand-painted linear motifs inspired by the aesthetic of classic animated cartoons. The illustrations, both on the front and back, include graphic references and onomatopoeias.

Following the handcrafted process behind all our creations, this piece is made from 14 porcelain fragments obtained from different molds, carefully assembled and decorated by hand. A meticulous process requiring great precision, allowing us to faithfully recreate the character’s expressiveness, volumes and every detail, bringing his unmistakable personality into the world of porcelain.
