Creative Transformation of Earth - Lalique's Terramineral Collection Chapter 1
Share
Lalique has embarked on a new era of inspiration with THE FORCES OF NATURE that highlights the four fundamental elements of the physical world - air, earth, water, and fire.
This begins in Spring 2025 with TERRAMINERAL Part 1 aligned with the earth element. Taking inspiration from the natural geographical formations found in nature, Lalique explores both the decorative ground surfaces and geological formations sculpted underground formed over thousands of years.
PERSEPOLIS BLUE & CANYON

The new Persepolis Blue crystal evokes the Icelandic volcanic soil rich with ultramarine, a mineral reflecting a modernistic blue spectrum of visible light. On the other hand, the Canyon crystal reflects the soft reddish-brown hue found in canyon formations around the world that seem to change colours depending on the time of the day. Both these colours are harmoniously neutral, fitting into many spaces with ease.
CALDERA
Poetic Cracks

The first motif is based on cracked ground found at endless plains and calderas, vast craters that bears witness to volcanic history. The geometric mosaic formations demonstrate the earth's ability to mould and reshape itself through endless cycles. Under these dried furrows you can find flowing water and the promise of life and fertility. Lalique crystallizes these formations in their new vases, bowls and decanters.
The Caldera Bowls evoke imagery of volcanic craters and cracked ground formed through drying and rapid cooling. It is available in Clear Crystal or the new Persepolis Blue Crystal colour.
The Caldera Vase is stunning in the new Canyon crystal colour and plays well with variable lighting to diffuse different shades of brown. For a barware addition that embraces the strength of the Earth, the Caldera Decanter meets the brief with a geometric stopper in Persepolis Blue.
MAGNITUDE
Mineral Faults

The second motif focuses on natural rocky faults created through environmental erosion and the intricate patterns of desert mud cracks. The angular and contrasting forms can tell us the long history of a biome. This motif is expressed further through the play of light illuminating the crystal form, bringing out an earthly rawness whilst still maintaining an elegant delicateness.
Standing stoically like a large rocky face, the Magnitude Grand Vase balances both raw strength and a natural elegance in its mosaic relief. It is also available in a smaller size with 2 colours.
For a showstopper piece that defies physicality, look no further than the Magnitude Vase Large Size with Gold Leaves Limited Edition. No less than 250 gold leaves are used per vase, and only 45 are made globally. Contact us immediately to secure your piece while it is available.
THEMATIC EXPRESSIONS
Lalique has several other additions that further complements the main theme and bring out the new crystal colours.
The Baby Elephant represents the wise and intelligent creatures who often cool down by covering themselves in mud. The Ibex provides a contrast, strongly conquering the rocky highlands and defying gravity.
