Jung Jaehyeong (정재형) is well known for his multi-talented achievement in his roles as singer-songwriter, music producer/director, composer, musician, and television host/presenter. Alongside his many miscellaneous appearances, he hosts a YouTube channel is his own home named 요정재형 (Fairy Jaehyeong) where he invites South Korean celebrities for an interview and a meal. His sensitivity to the arts has also led him to a fine appreciation of crystal homeware.

His kitchen is filled with various handmade crystal homeware from the French ateliers Lalique and Baccarat. As he is known to always dream of creating a mini bar at home, his many guests and friends often bring him crystal glasses and accessories to grow his collection further.

Once, Karina of aespa fame brought him a Baccarat Rohan Flute, a glass featuring delicate acid-etched S-shaped spiral engravings. The glass was sold out globally soon after with many on the waiting list to get one. Many netizens were surprised that despite her young age, Karina was knowledgeable about the luxury brand.

The popularity of luxury crystal in South Korea especially from Baccarat and Lalique are due to several variables. First, South Korea has a strong gift-giving culture and appreciation of fine craftsmanship. Second, the influence of K-Culture has over the years strengthened and become mainstream in many countries. Third, luxury crystal homeware is an everyday-use object that can be appreciated without being showy or vulgar.
