The magazine provides a uniquely Australian perspective on interior decoration and home design featuring a stunning line-up of homes as well as all the latest trends in interior decoration, art, design, and architecture. Its July issue showcases the work of talented local designer Michelle Macarounas, founder of Infinite Design Studio in Woollahra, Sydney. Michelle’s latest project has been the immense task of designing a luxury fleet of super-yachts, delivering a high-end aesthetic inspired by the Athens Riviera of the 60s and 70s, whilst working within the constraints of spatial planning and performance necessary for a sea-faring vehicle. For the yacht’s interior, she used the brown Ice Cream Lamp for a cohesive look that perfectly complements the boat’s classic mid-century Mediterranean style.

Lladró’s Ice Cream Lamp is an obvious lighting choice for a space like this. Unlike our homes, boats have to generate their own electricity meaning that traditional lamps only work when the ship is running. With a cordless, rechargeable light like the Ice Cream lamp, you can have power at any time of day or night, even when power outlets are limited. The lamp’s unique leather and porcelain composition also mean that not only does it have a classic, timeless style, but also that it won’t rust or fade - even when exposed to the salty sea air.
