Harry Nuriev revisits the Harcourt tumbler and carafe, and the Sirius crystal ball, using the same graphic language he did for the Maison Baccarat entryway installation. Harcourt, the Baccarat icon, and Sirius, a symbol of the purity of crystal, become new means of artistic expression through his eyes. In the gilding ateliers of the Manufacture, artisans bring his vision to life, engraving and enamelling, in black or in colour, words such as salute, enjoy the moment, celebration, charm, alongside patterns and depictions of gestures symbolic of the Baccarat universe. Between heritage and reinvention, Harry Nuriev celebrates the Maison’s creative freedom and pays tribute to the savoir-faire of its collective, making emotion visible, and precious.
