The Comyns Peacock Sculpture is an original interpretation of one of nature’s most striking birds, capturing its majestic stance, natural alertness and regal poise. Combining sterling silver with niobium, a refractory metal, the sculpture showcases an intricate interplay of materials and traditional silversmithing craftsmanship.

Approximately thirty individual feathers flow from the bird’s back towards the ground, while engraved niobium plates form the eyelets of its plumage. The niobium is anodised to create the peacock’s distinctive iridescent finish. Individually chased feathers extend from beak to tail tip, while the beak and feet are lavishly gilded in 24K gold.

Symbolising beauty and immortality, the peacock inspires this timeless sculptural work, bringing dignity, colour and character to a luxury interior.
