DESCRIPTION
Starky Sculpture were created by Edgar Plans for the My Little Artists collection. Limited edition of 1500 units. Australia's only Lladró destination.
Limited edition of 1500 units.
Starky emerges from the universe of Juanin and his martian, the work that gave rise to My Little Artists Collection. In this creation, the little martian steps out from Juanin’s side to take center stage and become the protagonist.
Like the other characters created by Edgar Plans, Starky comes from an imaginary world where fantasy literature, drawing, and childhood memories coexist. His presence reflects the power of imagination to build new worlds and the idea that shared dreams continue to live on through art.
Seated on three colored pencils, the character maintains a connection to drawing, the discipline at the heart of Plans’ work. The pencils become the foundation of a composition that celebrates creativity as a way to explore, imagine, and bring new stories to life.
Crafted in porcelain and hand-decorated, the piece is composed of 12 individual elements assembled to create the character. Bright colors, simplified forms, and the expressive nature of the design translate Edgar Plans’ visual language into porcelain, preserving the deliberately spontaneous quality and optimistic outlook that define his work.
This limited edition of 1,500 units pays tribute to inspiration, the transmission of creativity across generations, and the transformative power of imagination.
