First presented at the 1925 International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts in Paris, the Reflets Graphiques Bowl in a limited number of 25 units emerged during a time when Cubism was reshaping artistic norms. Designed by Georges Chevalier, Baccarat’s then-artistic director, the bowl reflects the spirit of modernity through its sculptural form, angular grooves, and elevated base. Its vivid pink hue is created through a process unique to Baccarat, where molten crystal is infused with 24-karat gold powder - a delicate operation that demands exceptional precision in the kiln. Realised through the collaboration of 14 artisans, the piece continues Baccarat’s tradition of blending historical technique with modern artistic influence.
