The caldera, a grand terrestrial formation, bears witness to a volcanic history. With its circular shape, this vast crater becomes a reservoir of beauty and a guardian of age-old secrets.

The Caldera pieces take on these contours, featuring a delicate cracked pattern that evokes the perpetual renewal of the earth. Between shadow and light, the contrast of the design is sublimated by repolished satin crystal, Lalique's signature, which brings a unique realism and aesthetic.

Since 1922, every Lalique piece has been produced at their only factory, the Verrerie d'Alsace glassworks at Wingen-sur Moder, Alsace, in a French region with a strong historical glassmaking tradition.
